Outsiders: Bongo Joe Records w/ Damily

Damily was born in 1968 in Tongobory, a village along the Onilahy River in southern Madagascar. His career as a professional tsapiky musician began in 1986. After settling in France in 2003, he began developing an international career alongside his Malagasy musicians.

After decades shaping the sound of southern Madagascar and emerging as one of tsapiky’s defining voices, Damily now releases his most intimate and focused record to date on Bongo Joe this month.
