Rodolphe Coster, a Belgian indie musician, performer, DJ and former member of several bands (Flexa Lyndo, Baum, Poni, Cafeneon), now works solo and with BAND, mixing subtle introspection with contemporary and vintage references (e.g., Fever Ray, Spacemen 3, My Bloody Valentine, Suicide, the Jesus and Mary Chain). Likened by some as a crossroads linking the Big Pink and Autechre, Coster’s tracks span from ambient pop to trans-genre music (electronica, punk, techno, indus, shoegaze). He is also composer for performing arts. Coster recently composed the music for STROKE, a contemporary dance production performed by Ben Fury and Louise Michel Jackson, and subsequently, received the 2016 SABAM AWARD in the category of Musical Composition for Performing Arts.
