SIZZLEPROOF

SIZZLEPROOF is a Brussels-based collective highlighting people of color (POC) in electronic music, one dancefloor at a time, and on both sides of the booth. As POC DJs still account for a small portion of lineups, that safer spaces aimed towards POC in Europe focus very little on electronic music, and that the pioneers of techno and house music were predominantly POC, they aim to reconnect with their historic audience through a community-building approach. By putting POC (and their allies) back at the center of the conversation in the scene, they advocate for a better understanding of the foundations of these genres as to build and reconnect healthily with the party and club culture of tomorrow.
