consolação music is a sibling to me one that consoles, accompanies, guides through the ebb and flow of existence, in joy, and in sorrow in the 'good', the 'bad' through life, and through death it's the one presence that remains that i can *always* turn to consolação takes its name from a bossa nova i love deeply - the herbie mann / joão gilberto / antônio carlos jobim version - a tender conversation between flute and guitar different voices holding each other up i don't come to this show with a plan i don't know yet what each episode will become but it will always be built with the same impulse: to share what has consoled me in whatever shape it takes that day come sit with me for an hour & let the music hold you too see you soon jo (g)
