Cold Waves w/ Sach

Cold Waves is an Amsterdam-based music journal, mixtape series and radio project run by Sach; drawing on post-punk currents, melancholic frequencies and blue moods. Over radio, Cold Waves moves freely between experimental electronics, alt-rock, ambient, folk, dub and other sounds that inhabit the spaces in between.

As a label, Cold Waves is devoted to tactile connection and shadowy sound. Each release invites artists on rotation to curate a 60–90 minute mix; pressed onto cassette and paired with a chosen companion object: a print, a scent, a recipe, a poem, or something unexpected. Together, the tape and its object form a singular, collectible experience. I had felt ~ still do. Been swept by cold waves.
