Ays blurs the line between dancefloor devotion and deep listening. A predominantly vinyl Rotterdam-based selector, she moves through disco, boogie, jazz, house, Afro and Brazilian sounds, guided by musical storytelling and captivating vocals. Her journey began in listening sessions before she leaned into more danceable sounds. Since her first bookings in 2022 she has played Rainbow Disco Club, Drift Festival, Nuits Sonores, Lowlands, Kappa Futur and North Sea Jazz. With Kuriosa she runs Love Transmission, a bi-monthly disco night in Rotterdam, and she hosts All Kinds of Joy on Operator Radio. Fresh from opening Cröak's Music Saves The Day series, she brings that same warmth and joy to the Kiosk airwaves for an hour.
