bellybuttonlint presents "Pirate of Your Life"

Pirate of Your Life is an audio travelogue about the people I met while wandering from city to city as a pirate of my life. I’ve put together a one hour story using original songs written for the show, my previously released music, field recordings, songs I found while travelling, and lots of dialogue in between. The music moves between guitar, strings, playful electronics, spoken word and waltz. The story takes us through airports, Milan, bedrooms, trains, pubs, bridges and the zoo. I will tell stories about the destiny of lunchboxes in summer, a spider family in my friend's bedroom, cigarettes, shiny fur, a bottle of beer, international phone calls and pirates.
