"This mix reflects my younger self fighting against patriarchal structures and the prospect of forced marriage. My aim was to create an authentic atmosphere with a clear directness that moves through different levels of intensity. The records I chose capture both the pain and the harsh darkness that were my reality for a long time, as well as the bursts of light sustained by love and friendship. Although the mix is shaped by these experiences, I still wanted it to be accessible to those without any prior knowledge of its background.
