System Failure Experimental Electronic Shoegaze

System Failure joins forces with VenusFest (venusfest.net) for a series of artist interviews and discussions on electronic music histories, embodiment, community-based practices of care and creating through the stories, experiences and insights of its performers. We are starting this collaboration with an interview-collage with seth cardinal dodginghorse, a Tsuut’ina, Amskapi Pikanii, and Saddle Lake Cree multidisciplinary artist, musician, researcher, filmmaker, prairie chicken dancer, model, and actor.

Featuring sounds from different phases of their life and artistic trajectory, this episode explores seth’s experiences and worldviews on the relationship between the body, the land, family and community; the significance of memory and time in their practice; as well as navigating art institutions.
