Outsiders: Strange Weather presents Ruang ft. Kiwed & A’alely

Strange Weather's A’alely invites Kiwed.

Her first hour starts with traditional drums and off-centre rhythms, opening with Uwalmassa before slipping into oddball dance, bits of new wave, and stranger rhythmic turns. Her mixes carry that faint after-hours Bedugul feeling recognised in a lot of Bali DJs over the years, broken beat, restrained pressure, hypno-rave and electro movement that never tips into excess, never quite hysteric, but always holding its own internal tension.

A’alely's section follows for the remaining stretch, inging Orbitinging, moving through Peter Rehberg, Dumbtype, and Gumatat Gumitit Gospell, less a club set than a slow drift through pressure, atmosphere, and residue.
