Louise and Romain met in 2019 through Paris’ DIY scene, organizing events together and sharing a common, intuitive approach to sound. From this connection, }Ï{ was born - a project using everyday dictaphone recordings as instruments to create musical “paintings.” Their work moves between musique concrète, poetic abstraction, and improvisation, as heard on their debut album Phone’s Paintings.
