This month’s guest: Recent Arts, the audiovisual project formed by Valentina Berthelon & Tobias Freund.

For this show, Recent Arts weave together works created as a duo with material from their individual projects, alongside long-standing collaborations (incl. Max Loderbauer and Javiera González). Different musical voices coexisting within one continuous narrative.

Their sound moves between experimental electronics, ambient atmospheres and cinematic textures. Shaped by layered electronics, samples and spoken voice, the music unfolds like the soundtrack to an unseen film, guiding the listener through emotional and perceptual states rather than fixed genres. Risk and exploration remain central, with boundaries deliberately left open.
