Outsiders: Constructive w/ Shojiro Nakaoka & Joji Koyama
Constructive show invites two artists working in multiple mediums as well as with sound.
Shojiro Nakaoka is a composer, sound artist, and audiovisualist based on Tokyo Japan, whose work is focused on sonic vibration and the expansion, transformation to other phenomenon.
Joji Koyama is a filmmaker, photographer, animator, and graphic artist based in Berlin. His work has been showcased internationally, winning awards at the London Short Film Festival and the British Animation Awards.
His feature-length film Kuro, co-written and co-directed with Tujiko Noriko, premiered at the Slamdance Film Festival and was streamed worldwide on MUBI. Alongside his moving image work, he has published a book of visual stories, Plassein.
