Marc Matter, long-time Salon des Amateurs affiliate, is a sound artist, word composer, and DJ exploring the space between language and sound. A founding member of Institut für Feinmotorik and The Durian Brothers, he’s released solo work on Futura Resistenza, Chocolate Monk, and Tanuki, and co-runs the sonic poetry label Spoken Matter. After a decade-long DJ hiatus, he returns to the decks with eclectic sets blending technoid noise, field recordings, spoken word, and sonic oddities from past and future.
