Animistic Beliefs are a Dutch-based duo whose electronic music draws on ancestry, animism, and mythology, blending political techno, punk, bubbling, and IDM. Rooted in Marvin’s Moluccan and Linh’s Vietnamese-Chinese heritage, their work explores queer POC identity through pre-colonial traditions and spiritual connections.
