In this episode System Failure features a collage of sounds, field recordings and samples from its producer (created under the moniker Sister Atlas), inspired by summer soundscapes around the Mediterranean and North America.

From underwater recordings, sudden rainfall and everyday construction sounds in the hot city, along with samples of Greek folk music and Jaromil Jireš’ Czechoslovakian cinematic wonder ‘Valerie and Her Week of Wonders’ (1970), System Failure celebrates summer oblivion and its little moments of joy and weirdness.
