Katharina Schmidt is a percussionist, composer, researcher, and radio host whose work spans film music, sound art, and multichannel compositions. Influenced by indie, experimental, and improvised music, her solo projects blend electronics, field recordings, and acoustic instruments, earning praise as "profound" (Field Notes) and "bucolic" (Groove Magazine).

With releases on labels like Moon Villain and enmossed, she has collaborated with WDR, ZKM, and MaerzMusik and teaches at Humboldt University in Berlin.
