Chico Blanco merges dance music with other predominant urban and pop genres in Spain, an influential figure in the underground scene with a distinctive sound that mixes 90s house, deep house UKG, rap, pop, among others. He first became noticed for his music, which is also produced by him, and then gained respect as a DJ with his party/collective MAREO. The collective is also run by 8kitoo and acidheaven and it has been pushing a new wave of dance music without prejudices since 2019. They’ve been featured in many platforms and clubs like Boiler Room, HÖR, Industrial Copera, Human Razzmatazz, Nitsa… etc.
