Stéphane Odrobinski
Stephane Odrobinski, a Brussels-based musician, reimagines John Fahey's *Sunflower River Blues* in his electric guitar solo *LE BLEU DE LA RIVIERE TOURNESOL*. By expanding its duration and exploring new textures, Odrobinski captures Fahey’s blend of classical blues, folk, and raw, untamed “primitive” guitar techniques, creating a sound both virtuosic and rock’n’roll.
Inspired also by the ambient journey of The KLF’s *Chill Out*, Odrobinski’s work evokes the feel of a drive through the countryside, with sounds unfolding like radio static and engine hum. An upcoming EP with Daniel Bleikolm will further spotlight Odrobinski’s unique guitar vision.
