Soul Ableta is proud to present a special program dedicated to Brussels-based cellist Sylvain Ruffier, a highly regarded figure in both the local and international music scenes. Known for his expressive and unique bow technique, Ruffier is not only an exceptional performer but also a composer of modern, original pieces. His ability to improvise—a rare skill in classical music—adds another layer to his versatility. Ruffier is also a member of the Donisi Quartet and regularly performs with prestigious ensembles such as the Brussels Philharmonic and the Orchestre de la Monnaie. 

This program will highlight Ruffier's diverse talents by featuring his own compositions alongside carefully selected works that demonstrate his range as a musician. The event will culminate in a display of his improvisational expertise, as he performs on a series of pieces chosen to showcase his spontaneous and creative approach to music.
