In the March mixtape, Valentina Goncharova's documentary piece takes us on a journey through the musical traditions of the North Caucasus, whose folklore has often been trivialised due to the influences of Russian colonialism and Orientalism. Manja Ristić and Mark Vernon have collaborated with the legendary EMS Synthi 100 modular system to explore the question of whether machines can possess a soul. Ukrainian composer and pianist Valentin Silvestrov presents his archival songs celebrating kitsch and Liis Ring and alëna korolëva walk us through their sonic landscapes.
