Chica Acosta is Mónica Gómez Vesga, a venezuelan DJ based in Barcelona. Her Caribbean roots strongly resonate in her club oriented sets permeating through the darker side of house and tropical bass.

She's the host of "La Candela Viva", a monthly show exploring the female Afro Caribbean drumming traditions. She's also part of the Syn Sync DJ collective and Club Trampolin agency.
