Born at the end of the 80s meant growing up with 90s Hip Hop culture as a teen. That shaped Hddd (pronounce Haddad)’s music quest - practicing scratches, cuts and mixing, then moving on to digging crates for anything funky really. Soul and Jazz soon complemented his collection, and then came the travelling around, in places where the music is another vibe. And so his collection grew more grooves from places such as Ethiopia, Kenya, Senegal, and Morocco. His mixes reflect these influences - the journey is never the same, but always funky. Hddd is German and recently moved from Morocco to Brussels. He is a musician, beatmaker and released his debut instrumental Hip Hop Album EA7 Eastbound in 2022 on the Hamburg based label The Crates Records.
