Outsiders: La Monnaie
In contrast with its opulent programme, La Monnaie starts the 2023 Outsiders collaboration with a selection from the minimalist repertoire. From first explorations to electronic forms, minimalism in music takes many paths. Voices, piano, sonic cells, tape-machines and violin are some of the sounds that make up this two-hour journey. Oh, and there's a good portion of silence too.
