Venus Flytrap

Venus Flytrap is a Chinese-born and Melbourne-based DJ and artist. Guided less than genre than by curiosity, she is an open-eared listener for sounds that are textured, a bit off-kilter, and often lingering in the peripheries of minimal/ambient/dub techno. First emerged from Shanghai's underground and active in Melbourne (narrm) since 2023, she has become a staple in the city's vibrant scene, pinning the right mood for club nights, third spaces, and festivals alike.
