VÄXT

VÄXT is a queer German-Turkish DJ and dancer who found her way into mixing through Europe’s house dance scene. Her sets are rooted in her love for house music, infused with SWANA beats, bruk and jazzy elements. Heavy drum patterns, funky brass sections, deep vocals, and beautifully complex rhythms drive her sound. Beyond mixing, VÄXT is actively shaping Hanover’s electronic music scene through her political work with the queer-feminist DJ network "Qenem" and the (post-)migrant collective "Bala Baile".
