Sarra Z is a Tunisian figure within her country’s underground scene. Her sets move between two states: one hypnotic and organic, pulling the body into a slow, dubby trance built on rolling bass and interlocking percussion and the other harder and fractured, industrial in texture, driven by broken rhythms and vocal fragments. As a producer, she works with recorded sounds capturing random moments and real-life emotions and then turns chaos into textures, landing somewhere between drone experimentation and dubby low-end, built into sound collages that feel intimate and surreal.
