Rasaaq

Rasaaq is the product of an upbringing in diaspora, splitting time between the golden coasts of Nigeria and The United States. His obsession with dance music and the underground is worn on his sleeve. His ability to not only read a room, but guide it, is a penchant of his sets. Approaching DJing as a world-building art, Rasaaq wields varying shades of tech house, progressive, and breakbeats to create cosmic spaces where movement isn’t a choice, but a calling. After co-founding the multi-city party Hoppers, where a focus on musical diversity and utilizing unique locations is paramount, he’s become one of the rising American talents to keep an eye out for - culminating in residencies with Sojourn in Boston and Blur in Brussels.
