Pan

Pan (Santiago de Souza, 1990) Uruguayan music producer and DJ. Active since 2012, he began producing records for hip hop artists, quickly establishing himself within the local scene. For ten years he was part of Pure Class Music, where he combined production and performance, and served as a resident DJ for iconic Montevideo club nights such as SUB and La Escuela del Groove. With performances across Uruguay, Argentina, Spain, Belgium and the Netherlands, his sets are defined by groovy, offbeat selections ranging from classic house to acid, as well as breakbeat, ghetto tech and jungle, all driven by heavy basslines and vocal sampling. He is currently the head of the label Recuerdos Humanos, focused on record releases and editorial projects, and leads the live project Huesos Rotos, exploring new intersections between trip hop, lo-fi pop and house.
