Palmbomen II

Kai, aka Palmbomen II / Palmbomen, is a Dutch composer and producer born in Dordrecht and raised in Breda. Initially surrounded by trance and EDM, his path shifted after discovering electro and underground electronics through Bunker Records, leading him to synth-based composition over classical training. Educated in music composition and production at the Utrecht conservatory, he values the constraints of vintage gear and harmony-driven writing. Now based in Antwerp after several years in Los Angeles, he continues to release music and compose for film while collaborating internationally.
