ORPHÉE

ORPHÉE has been exploring underground electronic music since the early ’90s. His formative years were spent working at the legendary Paris record shop Salinas, before emerging from the French rave scene and later co-founding the Paris-based party series La Fête Triste and Quick Culture. His journey has always been driven by record digging and a fascination for the overlooked connections between musical worlds. Drawing from acid house, Belgian new beat, proto-techno, ambient and the earliest forms of psychedelic electronics, his sets unfold as carefully constructed narratives where sequencing, tempo and context reveal familiar records from unexpected angles.
