Onohno
Onohno is drawn to the space between structure and unpredictability. His approach to electronic music moves freely across hypnotic techno, leftfield electronics and more atmospheric territories, connected less by genre than by a shared sense of tension and depth. Rhythm plays a central role, but rarely in a straightforward way. Precise, physical grooves coexist with fractured patterns, subtle shifts and textures that leave room for ambiguity. Repetition becomes a way of creating movement, while small disruptions keep the music in a constant state of flux. Rather than choosing between the cerebral and the physical, Onohno looks for a point where the two become inseparable. His music is immersive without being overly polished, controlled without becoming predictable, built around the idea that something can be both deeply functional and slightly strange.
