The aim of the show is to bring together different music genres and sound textures, to explore notions of (a)synchronicities and flow, the dynamic potentialities of the one-hour mix format, to create a narrative that is literally in relief. Considering “errors” as opportunities, RELIEF navigates between poetry, experimental music, field recording and the dancefloor. RELIEF plays on the two meanings of the word relief in French and English: on the one hand, relief is that which stands out from a surface - the sound wave being like a landscape - and on the other, it is a feeling of relaxation after great stress.
